As the population ages, the complexity of patients with arrhythmia and disease increases day by day, and the demand for arrhythmia treatment is increasing. In recent years, Taiwan has made remarkable progress in the treatment and academic research of arrhythmia. Under the hard work of the predecessors, many experts and new blood of cardiac electrophysiology have been achieved. More active in the field of arrhythmia, specializing in academic and clinical services, Taiwan's arrhythmia academics can continue to occupy an important position on the international stage. In view of the establishment of the Arrhythmia Medical Association in the United States, Europe, Japan, China, South Korea and other countries, the activities are actively promoted to enhance their treatment and research standards. The Taiwan Society of Heart Rhythm Symposium also discussed the need to establish the Taiwan Heart Rhythm Society (THRS). Therefore, after discussion with members and the Secretary-General in the Electrophysiological and Rhythm Committee of the Cardiac Medicine Association of the Republic of China, and after knowing the chairman of the Cardiac Medicine Association of the Republic of China, he set up the "Taiwan Heart Rhythm Society" (THRS). ). It is hoped that with the establishment of this medical association, the resources of all parties and the wisdom of the predecessors will be integrated to further enhance the quality of academic, teaching and clinical care.
